Configuration and maintenance of the SQL Server.
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and Security Management.
Analyzing and resolving the real-time issues
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
Provide 24x7 support for critical Production systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities
High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
Experience in Cluster, Always On and Mirroring and High Availability Management
Experience in DR Drill activity.
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
Must have experience in Backup and Restore from NetBackup.
Understanding the behavior of 2-Tier and 3-Tier applications.
Experience in SQL Server In-place and side by side migration to newer SQL Version.
Experience in Windows Server & SQL Cluster functionality.
Capacity Management and Planning the resource management.
Process Improvements & Process orientation.
Daily, Weekly and Monthly maintenance
Health Checks / Report Analysis.
SQL Server in Azure environment.
