Work with the team and its internal customers to establish robust procurement category strategies that align with organizational goals, and ensure that effective delivery.
Responsible for the procurement of data center-related products and services.
Develop vendor relationships and carriers, negotiate contracts.
Work with stakeholders to develop requirements, strategies, and project plans.
Work with stakeholders to execute projects promptly.
Contribute to the development of the procurement organization.
Create repeatable data profiling strategies using SAS and SQL.
Build and deliver concise documented design to address each item specified in the technical requirements and ensure they trace back to the business requirements.
Provide expert data design support to create a maintainable, available and scalable solution.
Develop testing and processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy of the data in all internal and external reporting processes.
Follow all processes and procedures and provide documentation on all work.
Verify that procedure documentation is being followed.
Partner with internal stakeholders to develop effective sourcing strategies, data collection, and analysis plans and provide timely and accurate analyses.
Conduct analysis to support savings estimation; perform analysis of data provided by suppliers to advice on savings and/or benefits.
Understand business needs and develop accurate solutions.
Interview contacts to validate data, collect qualitative information and gain insight.
Present business cases and provide recommendations for action.
5 years of work experience in accessing enterprise data source and developing enterprise reporting.
Experience with developing in SAS and SQL.
Experience with databases, such as DB2, Oracle or Teradata.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Effective organizational skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide, Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tool and Business Intelligence tools.
Process and Project management experience.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library/Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (ITIL/COBIT) certification.
Data modelling in SAP BW-HANA experience.
Experience with Hadoop, HANA and Netezza warehousing.
