  • Oversees all technical aspects and technological resources for the company. Establishes a technological vision for the company and leads the company's technological development. Responsible for ensuring that technological resource are align with the company's business needs.
  • Lead IT team to ensure that they are well motivated and receive all necessary training and development required to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
  • Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic and business plans, particularly concerning information technology, in support of the company’s mission and core objectives.
  • Develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that financial targets to meet.
  • Negotiate service level agreements with internal customers and service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure that agreed targets and standards to meet.
  • Negotiate contracts with external providers for services and products which cannot be provided internally and monitor service delivery to ensure that agreed targets and standards are met.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of company-wide technology systems, which provide all required support to company operations.
  • Act as a company-wide source of expertise on information technology to ensure the company has the best possible information for effective decision-making and accessing data.
  • Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the company's data, security and maintenance of the company’s network.
  • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics.
  • Work closely with other units to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.
  • Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Membership of relevant professional body.
  • 8 years working in a technological role.
  • Substantial executive management experience and experience of managing budgets.
  • Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology.
  • Exceptional team management skills.
