Gather and understand the business requirements and work directly with business units to define and prototype QlikView Applications.
Perform quality coding from business and technical specifications.
Extract, transform and load data from multiple Big Data sources into QlikView applications.
Migrate code across production, development and testing environments.
Design, develop, and test QlikView scripts to import data from source systems and test QlikView dashboards to meet customer requirements.
Create and maintain technical design documentation.
Interact with Data Warehouse staff to design, create and tune physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support logical and dimensional models.
Source data from disparate systems with a good understanding of their Data Models and ETL procedures.
Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation.
Strong knowledge of QlikView architecture including building qvd’s and qvw’s.
Strong knowledge of automating reports from Qlikview (Without using NPrinting).
4+ years of experience utilizing QlikView to implement analytical solutions accessing and integrating data from multiple sources.
4+ years of experience developing Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical Solutions.
Experience with Big Data technologies considered a plus.
Excellent dashboard designing skills.
Excellent problem solving skills, logical process thinking. Investigates problems to establish real or hidden causes and solves complex problems with creative solutions.
Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
Fluent in English.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Results-driven with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Places emphasis on client satisfaction.
Proven ability to roll up your sleeves and make a contribution quickly.
