Acting as the first line response on all Infrastructure Related issues.
Monitoring the performance of system assets, raising concerns with the Infrastructure Manager.
Expert knowledge in Storage solutions like DMX, VMAX and Centera.
Expert in UNIX (Solaris/Linux) (x86,SPARC).
Following up with vendors for faulty HW and replacements process.
Storage provisioning.
Backup and Recovery Process for all IT services.
Installs, administers, maintains and troubleshoots OS.
Monitor various systems and manage incidents.
Perform the daily health check for sun servers.
Ensure authorized access to data center.
Monitor asset movements in data center and track inventory.
Perform Preventive maintenance for Servers.
Communicate with systems owner and track problems through to resolution.
Seeking out, proposing and implementing improved methods of work.
Proactively monitors work performed by the team to identify potential issues and opportunities to improve performance and timing.
