Dispatch acts as a support function for all field activity and ensures that the field forces are routed and loaded properly to maximize utilization and productivity.
The Dispatch job role works closely with multiple field-based job roles and schedules or adjusts work assignments for field personnel. Dispatch personnel assign and expedite work orders and the other field-based job roles then perform the actual tasks.
Dispatch may interface with any field-based workers, including Managed Services, NRO/Build, Broadcast, and Digital Services.
Dispatch may also interface with direct customer agencies, end customers, external contractors as well as with internal teams such as MSIP, PMO, and NOC.
Work Force Management tool (WFM), Customer-owned or Ericsson-owned.
Customer Ticket systems.
Spares databases/systems.
Site access databases/systems.
Site information databases/systems.
Customer-specific systems, as required.
Dashboards and reporting tools.
